June 12, 2010 Results

With the high water conditions on the Tuscarawas River, the TCBA was forced to do something that we hadn't done in a few years, we held a club tournament on Tappan Lake. The weather was warm and breezy with the threat of a thunderstorm but thankfully the heavy rains held off until just after weigh ins. I think the channel cats were on spawn but a few guys managed to bring back a couple of NICE fish.

June 12, 2010 Tournament UPDATE

The tournament has been moved to Tappan Lake. We will be holding registration from 5:30pm to 6:00pm at Cripple Creek bait and Tackle. Weigh Ins will be at 12 midnight at the same location. Remember, if you are not in the parking lot by 12:05, you will be disqualified. A big THANKS to Darlene for letting us use their parking lot! Hope to see everyone there.

There is a possibility that the June 12, 2010 tournament will be moved to Tappan Lake due to high water conditions. We must think of everyone's safety first. We will be closely monitoring the weather and water levels this week and have a final decision by Friday night. I will do my best to get it posted on here if it is moved. Thank you!

May 29, 2010 Results

The night started out pretty hot. I believe it was around 85 degrees at the start of the tourney and the sun was fierce. After the sun went down, it was a beautiful night. The catfish bite seemed to be tough but the gar and turtles were tearing up the baits! Are the cats starting their spawn already? It is possible. Thank you to all who made it out and hoping EVERYONE had a safe and happy Memorial Day weekend!
