We were once again forced to fish Tappan Lake. The river levels were looking promising until the rain from Friday night and Saturday morning started to settle in. Within a few hours time the river came up 2 feet and with muddy banks and cold water temps., safety had to be considered. The weather was a little more cooperative during the tournament with temps. in the low to mid 40's most of the night and a pretty steady drizzle with some occasional hard showers. We still had 12 people enter the tournament with 6 of those bringing back some nice stringers of fish.

First place went to Zach Leach with a 5 fish limit weighing 30lbs 2oz. Second place went to Tyler Moore with 4 fish weighing 21lbs 8oz including a nice 9lbs 7oz Channel that gave him the Big fish honors of the night. Jeff Huff took third with 5 fish weighing 19lbs 4oz followed by Brian Huff with 5 fish and a total weight of 15lbs 2oz. Floyd Rennicker and Don Huff brought back 2 fish each with weights of 9lbs 6oz and 6lbs 3oz respectively.

As always, THANKS to everyone who came out and especially to our sponsors! Next tournament is April 30, 2011 and is a double points tournament.
